I took my little guy out in search of fall leaves. I loved how mischievous he decided to be for this shoot. It made it an awful lot of fun.
My greatest accomplishment to this shoot may not sound like much, but it was a milestone for me. I pretended to be a “Real Photographer.” The best pile of leaves we came across on our search happened to be on the side of a fairly busy road, which is traveled pretty extensively by lots of people we know. I got brave, took my time, and set up the shots the way I wanted them, without worrying about being caught. As I said, you might not understand the significance to that, but it was a first for me. It was a little scary, and someone at the kids’ school did ask if it was me she had spotted on the side of the road that day. I fessed up, admitted to my photography dreams, and really enjoyed the pictures I came away with.
