Macro Monday

Apparently, there is an unwritten rule out there that at some time, you have to take a shot of Fruit Loops and a box of crayons if you own a macro lens.  Who knew?  The crayons will be forthcoming, but since my daughter used her amazing persuasive powers to score a box of Fruit Loops this week, I got to check something off the list.  This did not begin creatively, I’m sad to say.  I just copied the Fruit Loop idea I liked best from the Bonnie 5.  I’m still just trying to figure out how to stay still and keep a shot in focus on this lens.  (Which is why we start with things like Fruit Loops.  Good color and not blurry is enough challenge to start).  But then my three-year-old son decided to help me out with the staging, and I ended up with a pretty fun variation in the end.  All in all, a successful day.

Well, it may not be your original composition, but it looks amazing. You nailed it! I want to frame that top image and put it in my kitchen.ReplyCancel

VERY nice. I especially like the background on the top picture. You are definitely moving from amatuer to professional! WAY TO GO! 🙂ReplyCancel
